Ekanna Peeth or Ekanna Shakti Peeth it is a unique concept of Hindus. You may wonder why am I posting this book in a dedicated astrology blog? Though it is directly not related to astrology but Hindu religion is a amalgamation of so many aspects - we can not imagine! Every planet has a Deity of his own and Lord and Sub-Lord. Visiting and offering puja in different religious places pacifies evil effects.
It is said that Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy - the then Chief Minister of Bengal at the time of "The Great Calcutta Killing" or "The Massacre of Direct Action Day" was one of the brains behind the killing of innocents. After independence, he went to Pakistan and was trying fruitlessly to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan. After some failed attempts, someone suggested that, he should offer Puja to the Kalighat Temple to pacify the anger of Ma Kali! As per suggestion, he offered the Puja and next time became the ruler of Pakistan!
Historian D.C. Sarkar in his "Sakta Peethas" researched and suggested the locations of different peethas. I have 3 books on this subject and I will post them one after another.
